About The Blog

What is onelifethislife…

One day not so long ago, I was struck with the realization that I have not yet lived. Yes, I wake up every morning to see a new day but I truly never really live that day. I have become so consumed with the daily routine of waking up, going to working and before you know it it’s time to wake up again. I imagine that some may be satisfied with that. I no longer am. I have forgotten what it feels like to live my dreams and as a result I lost so much time not doing so.

My grandmother is 88 years old and I could sit and listen to her memories of her life for hours on end. And as I write this note to all of you all, I think…hmm, I want to have stories and memories like those of my grandmother to share. So I welcome you to Onelifethislife!

How ever you live your life…
Be sure to capture the love, the beauty, the joy, all the firsts and lasts, the memories that will make smile long after they have happened and even the melancholy life can bring because that are all a part of what we call life; your life. So, make it all count and remember, you’ve got Onelifethislife!

I wake up everyday and think…Oh My God…where did yesterday go? I am trying to slow down my life and one way to do that is to declutter your life. If there are lesser things in your life, it helps! So I’ve have now started give away my art collection…not all of it but yes, around 40-50 artworks to close friends. The rest is on my walls…and I have realized that I have now worry less about stocking the works, preserving them and so on…
I also decided to stick to one business and shut everything else I did. This helped me focussed on one thing and game me ample time to spend time with my family, go for walks, work with a not for profit organization, write.
The last thing which I am working on is getting back to my photography, and though I already have a blog with my pictures, I want to start traveling again and experience the world…and have stories to tell like your grandmother! Keep up the good work!
