The Evening Train to….
Hello Everyone!!
I realized I’ve been taking more photos each day but I am not getting enough time in the day to post them so, I find myself starting to play catch up. Man, I really need more hours in the day… One caveat… not when at work.
I do love what I do, I just love the idea of spending the day taking photographs of any and everything more. Unfortunately, something has to pay those bills and allow me to buy my first wide-angle lens.
I just made it home before the “big downpour” I kept hearing about on the radio. I was driving past the train station and noticed a train fly by. Hmm… now that would make a cool photo, I thought. So for this photo I had to get out of the car… therefore, no AVFMC* photo today.
This photo was my attempt to capture motion without a tripod and in the rain. I enhanced the color of the background to make the rain coming off the train more pronounced through the fog.
I hope that you enjoy today’s photo! See you soon.

Raining: A View From My Car
It was extremely hot and I was feeling a bit muggy. Thank goodness for the rain! First it was a few drops, then a bit more and then it poured! Oh yes, relief at last!
But it wasn’t long before the heat returned and I was feeling the heat of the Sunshine State!
This photo was taken using my iPhone. I love the blur in this photo. There wasn’t a need to edit this photo other than to add my signature. I loved it just the way it was photographed.
Enjoy!

A Little Bit of Sunshine
Image
-Hi Everyone.
I thought I would post a few photos that have not had a chance to share that were taken in the beginning of July. This photo was taken in the parking lot across the street from my job. I think the owner really loves flowers and plants in general. He even planted a plum tree some time ago which is now bearing actual fruit!
I know I have not been posting as often as I once did. My goal was to post every day in July but that didn’t happen and I feel that I am not staying completely true to my mission for project 365 (or 366 if you consider that this is a leap year). I’ve been taking photos with either my Canon or my iPhone for most of the days that I did not post but I just don’t get time to post and share the stories behind them. Sometimes the story or sentiment behind the photo matters and actually makes the post more interesting. Just my opinion… and yes I did say “sometimes”. Although, I have seen many spectacular photos on WordPress where there wasn’t a charming tale or even a description and it didn’t make the photo any less powerful; in fact, it sometimes makes an even stronger piece. Now, that is wonderful thing about ART!
Stay tune for more photos… some with a story and maybe some without!
Enjoy!

Before the Sun
Good morning! I awoke this morning with an urgency to get out and shoot. I grabbed my Canon and keys and drove out to a nearby field. This small part of the world seemed so silent and calm. And the inspiration came….
….And then I went back to bed.
Now that I am awake again, it’s time for a bit of fun! See you soon with more photos!

Sunset Palms
Hello Everyone!!
I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday! Aren’t you? This week has been a long and busy week at work but after 5 PM tomorrow, it will all be over. I am a bit exhausted. I can actually relax, sleep late, or both but I am too excited to sleep late. I will be spending the weekend taking photos. Sounds like fun? Oh yeah, baby!
Today’s photo was taken while in Florida last month. I was one of my favorites of the bunch and seemed fitting for this evening’s post. You can never get tired of a photo of a sunset… well I can’t. I consider it to be Nature’s happy ending! Now if it were only Friday today…
Enjoy!

One More For the Road
I was feeling a bit guilty for posting just one photo… so here is one for the road!
This photo was taken while in Jacksonville, Florida with the family. I tried to capture the sunset as best I could and quickly. It really was the last photo taken before the sun disappeared for the day.
Enjoy!!
Until we meet again….
