This photo was taken on the train from Boston. We were entering NY and I was so excited to be almost home. Don’t get me wrong, Boston was great and I have plans to revisit very soon but I really was happy to be home. Do you ever get that feeling?

It was extremely hot and I was feeling a bit muggy. Thank goodness for the rain! First it was a few drops, then a bit more and then it poured! Oh yes, relief at last!
But it wasn’t long before the heat returned and I was feeling the heat of the Sunshine State!
This photo was taken using my iPhone. I love the blur in this photo. There wasn’t a need to edit this photo other than to add my signature. I loved it just the way it was photographed.

Today’s Photo: City Commuter
Hi everyone! Today’s photo was inspired by the song Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne. My best friend’s daughter loved this song! She would play it over and over in her room while we sat and caught up on old times. It was quite a catchy song. I hadn’t realized after hearing it so often, I learned the words.
I haven’t heard it for a while now. Maybe she’s moved on. Tweenagers! 
Now that I think about it, she’s definitely moved on to whatever is new and “hot”! 
The original photo was taken in color but I decided to convert it to b&w. I tried to bring out the textures a bit more but since I am posting from my phone I am not sure how it translates on WordPress.

After work yesterday, I went to visit a friend who was going out of town on vacation. We ran a few errands to prepare for the trip. On our little venture, we stopped at the light by a market that was selling fruit outside. I love fruit but I had no intensions of stopping. We were on a mission. But it was the wagon-like cart that caught my eye. It’s nothing new or amazing profound but I just liked the assembly of the fruit display. So that is the story behind the photo.
My friend is happily enjoying a vacation in mountains while I’m now having a craving for fruit. Man… I should of bought some fruit! Next time I’ll definitely stop for some fruit.
